Istanbul Trip!

Woke up to this sight this morning!

Well, today is my second-to-last day in Alaska, and what a beautiful sight I woke up to…the Kachemak Bay! I am very excited to get to Istanbul, not too excited about the planes…

I have an extremely long trip ahead of me, I will fly out from Anchorage (a four hour drive from Homer) tomorrow afternoon, hit up Starbuck’s when I land in Seattle, and from Seattle, end up with a 20 to 36 hour layover in Los Angeles…oh…yay…
From L.A. I have a direct flight to Istanbul, and will land in Turkey either the 28th or 29th, depending on if I get in a much coveted stand-by seat.

Oh the excitement!
